Not to be completely outdone by Netlfix, Amazon, Vudu and whatever other video streaming services that offer offline viewing, Hulu will be joining the list sometime this year. Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins sat w/ AdWeek for an interview and dropped that tidbit of info stating that is would arrive in a few months.
Hulu has been working hard to get the technology involved in doing it just right along w/ procuring the rights to do so as well. Like on Netflix, this can be great to work around a data cap as well as to keep up w/ your shows while travelling or down time at work.
Now we just have to wait and see what shows will support this feature at launch. Hopefully, it won’t be only be subject to the Hulu originals.
