Along w/ the P10/P10 Plus, Huawei is reeling out new wearable hardware w/ the Huawei Watch 2 & Watch 2 Classic. Offering up more options for consumers for Android Wear 2.0.
The Watch 2 will offer a plastic body w/ rubber straps along w/ a 1.2inch display, powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100 CPU, NFC for Android Pay support, LTE options, and a 420 mAh battery. While the Watch 2 Classic will offer more or less the same specs except for no LTE options. On the outside, the Watch 2 Classic have a metal body w/ a variety of options for straps.
Both watches sport IP68 dust/water-resistance as Huawei touts a 2-day battery life w/ a new mode to make it last up to 25 days by putting a lot of the smart features on standby. They’re expected to be available in April and start at $350.
Huawei is taking the Samsung approach w/ the wearables by offering a sporty version and a classier version.
