In the wee hours of the morning, HTC took to YouTube to livestream their official unveiling of their new flagship for 2017. No, the U Ultra didn’t count. Say hello to the HTC U11 as it aligns w/ pretty much everything that had been leaked previously.
The exterior of the phone is similar to the U Ultra. It has super-glossy, aluminum, & glass w/ a smaller camera bump. They call it Liquid Surface that reflects you to be exact. Arriving in Sapphire Blue and Brilliant Black colors for Sprint and arriving unlocked in Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, and Amazing Silver colors at Amazon.com & HTC.com.
HTC touts the highest DXO Mark rating of 90. Last time we heard that we got the great camera on the Pixel.
You got a 5.5inch QHD Super LCD display, powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 CPU, 4GB of RAM (in the US as it is more elsewhere), 64GB of storage expandable via microSD, a f/1.7 12MP Ultrapixel 3 rear-facing camera w/ OIS + 4K video w/ 3D Audio/Acoustic Focus/Hi-res stereo recording, 16MP front-facing camera, new Hi-Fi edition of BoomSound, built-in DAC, 3D audio recording w/ 4 mics, no headphone jack, USB-C, IP67 dust/water-resistant, 3000 mAh battery, and running Android 7.1 w/ Sense UX + Google Assistant + Alexa.

Welcome to HTC Edge Sense: taking a new approach to how you can interact w/ your phone. They put touch sensors on the edges of the device so when you squeeze it, you can open a different app or do a different action. Like, do a short squeeze to open one thing and a squeeze & hold to open another.
The HTC U11 will be sold exclusively through Sprint w/ pre-orders kicking off today. The phone will begin shipping on June 9th for $0 down & $29 per month for 24 months w/ a full price of $696. For everyone else, there is the unlocked model that works on AT&T, T-Mobile, & Verizon for $649.
