Apple wanted to make sure that their operating system for their Apple Watch didn’t get left behind either. Say hello to the next version watchOS 4 set to bring forth several new features to make the Apple Watch a bit better.
For starters, you got a couple of new watchfaces like a kaleidoscope & Toy Story characters like Woody, Jesse, & Buzz from Toy Story. The biggest new one is a Siri watchface that acts as Google Now face of sorts. Where it utilizes machine learning to gather info based on a timely need like boarding passes, sunset, smart home control, along w/ access to apps like Activity, Alarms, Breathe, Calendar, Maps, Reminders, and Wallet, as well as headlines from the new Apple News app for Apple Watch.
The update also brings forth a new UI for the workout app, adds integration w/ gym equipment that links via NFC. All of this beefs up the fitness tracking abilities as a whole. You can now import Apple Music playlists & support multiple playlists. And lastly, you get the person-to-person payments w/ Apple Pay from iOS 11.
For those you looking to dive into it early, a preview version of watchOS 4 is out now while everyone else will have to wait until the fall.
