isocell-1As we’re entering July, we can expect more leaks & rumors for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 to come to life.  Today, we can add on to the pile of intel on the Note 8 thus far.  We already know that this will be Samsung’s 1st take on a dual camera setup but now we have an idea of what its capabilities will be.

Samsung’s ISOCELL is now their official brand for their camera technology and during one of their investor presentations, they shared a PDF w/ ISOCELL abilities.  It will offer a 3x optical zoom for better images from further away, they will utilize Tetracell Smart WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for even brighter & more color-rich photos, a new LLS or Low-Light Shooting ability for better results in the darker environments, and Dual Sensing or depth sensing to pull off bokeh effects or even AR abilities as well like Tango or Intel’s RealSense cameras.

Also, newer renders have surfaced which places the camera sensor along w/ flash & fingerprint reader in a horizontal layout instead of the vertical one as previously seen.  So is any of this getting you even more excited for the Note 8 or not really?
