Earlier today, we had quite the Google leak for all of the things set to be unveiled at their Pixel event on October 4th. Kicking things off is a better look at what the new Pixel phones will look like as well as important info like the color options & the pricing.
So we’re looking at 3 colors: Just Black, Clearly White, & Kinda Blue. All of the names are quite fitting. We get a better look at the rear design as it offers a smaller glass rear section and a larger camera sensor on the rear. Other than that, it looks like a modest but much-needed revamp.
Now onto the pricing, it’s gonna be a little bit more than last year of course as 2017 is the year of the more expensive flagship. The Pixel 2 will arrive in 2 storage sizes of 64GB ($649) or 128GB ($749). The Pixel 2 XL will cost you $849 for the 64GB & the $949 for the 128GB model. So the XL gets a $80 increase while the standard Pixel remains the same.
So all of that along w/ GoogleLens will give this Google’s Pixels for 2017 a bit of an edge over the competition for camera tricks. So who’s happy w/ everything or pissed off about it all? Sound off.
