Well, they were rumored previously but it is coming more & more to fruition. There were talks of Google working on Bluetooth headphones but we assumed that it would be made by them and not another company. Looks like they’ve teamed up w/ Bose to bring their idea into a reality.
What we see above is a leaked photo for the Bose QuietComfort 35 II w/ Google Assistant built-inside. The image above is thanks to a reddit user as we see that it says the Assistant is built into it along w/ wireless premium sound & world class noise cancellation. So Google worked w/ Bose to add its own Assistant button into the headphones w/ their new Action button.
I’m guessing these will be officially announced at the Pixel 2 event out on the west coast on October 4th. I’m curious to know what the price point will be as the QC35s form last year (which I still use and are awesome) retails for $350. Hopefully, it’s not too much more than that. It would be nice if it is cheaper. if not, one can dream.
