When we originally heard about the Moto X4, rumors had it pegged as being a Project Fi device – the first for a non-Google device. And today, that rumor became factual by Google. But they also added it as being Android One -branded device here in the US as well.
This x4 will be a bit different from the standard version as you won’t find Moto Voice, Moto Access, attentive display, or one-button nav options here. Other than that, you will have a 5.2inch 1080p LCD display, powered by a Snapdragon 630 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage expandable via microSD, 16MP selfie camera + rear dual cameras (12MP +8MP), IP68 dust/water resistant body, and a 3300 mAh battery.
It will ship w/ Android 7.1 Nougat but will have Android 8.0 Oreo by year’s end. It will cost you $399 as you can trade-in older Nexus devices to save up to $165 off. Do this by October 5th and get an extra $50 Project Fi credit. Pre-order kicked off today on Project Fi’s site.
Does this raise interest in the Moto X4 or not really?
