Sony is kicking off Photo Plus Expo for 2017 w/ some new hardware.  More specifically, the update to the A7R line w/ the Mk III camera.   They managed to bring some of the features from the A9 within the same body as the A7R II.  

You can save $1,200 by getting this instead of the A9.

The updated shooter offers a 42.2MP full-frame sensor, faster auto-focus w/ 399 phase detection autofocus points & 425 contrast AF points from the A9, powered by an updated Bionz X processor w/ 1.8 x faster, 15 stops of dynamic range, 14-bit RAW, continuous @10fps, 5-axis image stabilization, ISO 100 – 32,000, new touchscreen options, USB-C, headphone jack, mic jack, mini HDMI, dual SD card slots, 1080p video @120 fps, 4K video @24fps/30fps, can shoot 4K HDR video, and more.  

Definitely a great update w/ even more features.  This might the camera to may folks forget about the 5D Mark IV.  The A7R III will be out in November for $3,200.  Are the new updates piquing your interest enough to pick one up?
