The most powerful Mac form Apple right now is the iMac Pro and it is out right now for those of you wanting to pick it up. This was announced back in June and is now on sale on Apple’s site.
It has a lovely 27inch Retina 5K display w/ 5120 x 2880 resolution, powered by an Intel Xeon W CPU (8 or 10-core), 32GB of RAM & go up to 128GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, Radeon Pro Vega 56, 10Gb Ethernet, 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, 4 USB-c ports, 1 SDXC port, and a headphone jack.
Definitely powerful enough to handle any type of media manipulations for photographers, videographers & audio producers/engineers. This drops just in time as Final Cut gets an update to version 10.4 which adds support for 360 VR, HDR10, audio effect plug-ins from Logic Pro, and new color grading tools.
