In preparation for the big game in about a week away, AT&T is rolling out some new technology to better blanket the city of Minneapolis for better speeds & overall experience. The carrier dropped a $40 million investment in the city’s wireless network within & around the U.S. Bank Stadium.
This upgrade consists of upgrading the in-stadium antenna system, to offer almost 220% more LTE speeds, more than 800 hidden antennas to beef up wireless traffic, 10 COWs or smaller cell towers, and lastly, the carrier 5G Evolution network which is somewhere in-between 4G LTE & true 5G in regards to speeds.
So those outside the stadium, nearby hotels, airports, & other nearby venues will see a noticeable boost on AT&T. With the game right around the corner, which team do you have $$ on? The Pats or the Eagles? Sound off.
