Looks like we got more intel on the new LG new flagship set to arrive later this year. The new bit of info is courtesy of @evleaks over at Venture Beat for the new device codenamed Judy – like Judy Jetson. This was supposed to be the G7 for MWC and scrapped to start fresh.
The new LG Judy is supposed to offer a Snapdragon 845 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, dual f/1.6 16MP cameras on the rear, stereo speakers, wireless charging, voice recognition, camera AI, digital assistant, and an IP68 water & dust resistance body design. It will sport a 6.1inch display w/ HDR10 imaging and a new MLCD+ panel. It will be capable of 800-nits of brightness and consume 35% less power than your normal LCD panel. This is all thanks to a white sub-pixel to provide extra power savings.
So for their new flagship will arrive at a time that will give Samsung enough time to shine w/ the S9 and do its numbers. This could give LG a nice window to drop their device and push these units. In the meantime, we’ll have a slightly updated LG V30 w/ camera AI abilities.
