When we reviewed the Google Home Max late last year, we loved it. There was one part of that could’ve been better and that was the delay line-in option. I used it for streaming music about 100% of the time but for those who wanted more form the line-in feature, its coming.
Thanks to the folks over at TheNextWeb, we learned that Google will soon be rolling out an update for the Home Max to improve the latency. Currently, the line-in delay is about 550 milliseconds which will give it a mean delay when hooking the Home Max to a TV. The update will put it down to around 39 milliseconds to make it ideal to utilize the Home Max as part of your home theater setup.
So for those of you w/ the Home Max, be on the lookout for the update as it will get a lot more useful. As well as better living up to the $400 price tag Google put on it.
Who’s looking forward to this update?
