Sony’s 1000X series are more or less touted as one of the best wireless headphones on the market right now.  They give you 30-hour battery life, great sound, on-ear controls, and noise-canceling that close to Bose-level.  Looks like they’re finally getting another cool feature w/ Google Assistant integration.

According to Android Police, Sony has begun rolling out an update to turn the feature on.  With it, you’ll be able to hear notifications read to you and request info via Assistant.  You’ll have to go to the Headphones Connect app on the Play Store to get started.

The update will arrive for both the WI-1000X and WH-1000XM2 series as well as the h.ear on 2, WF-1000X, WH-CH900N, and WH-H900N headphones in the near future.

Who’s looking to forward to having Google Assistant on their Sony cans?
