So despite selling off most of its phone division to Google, HTC is still working on phones.  Yesterday morning, we got a brief email from them w/ a line of sentence and the image you see above.  So on May 23rd, we'll see a new device from HTC.  In regards to what to expect, we're thinking along the lines of the HTC U12+ (image below).

The U12+ is said to offer a 6inch QHD LCD display, Snapdragon 845 CPU, up to 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, dual rear-facing camera w/ a 16MP & a 12MP sensor, an 8MP front-facing camera, IP68 dust/water resistant body, running Android 8.0 w/ Sense 10 UX, squeezable Edge Sense, and a 3420 mAh battery.

Last year's HTC U11 had high praises despite their lack of marketing as the masses didn't probably still don't know it exists.  It has a great camera, display, and battery life as my colleagues told me.  We didn't get a chance to check it out but the U11 was a blueprint for the smaller Pixel 2.

So get ready for more HTC.
