Today is the day for LG to come out guns a blazing w/ their latest flagship: the G7 ThinQ.   We saw a bunch of leaked photos and got an idea of what to expect but it is finally here.  Even though we kind of already knows about it, this is what LG is offering this year.

LG armed the G7 ThinQ w/ a 6.1inch QHD super bright display to use in direct sunlight, powered by (you guessed it) a Snapdragon 845 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, running Android 8.1 w/ LG UX, DTS 3D 7.1 Surround Sound, Boombox Speaker, 32-bit Quad DAC, dedicated Google Assistant button w/ far-field mics to pick up your voice within other noise & from far away, and a 3000 mAh battery - all on a water/dust resistant body.

In regards to the shooters on board, you still the dual rear cameras w/ a standard & wide-angle setup.  You have a f/1.6 standard & a f/1.9 wide-angle lens on the rear w/ both touting a 16MP sensor.  All w/ a dual LED flash & laser-assisted autofocus system as well.  These 2 combined now offers better low-light performance, Portrait mode, and an AI CAM feature that analyzes your subjects & provides recommendations to beef up your photos.  On the front, you got a f/1.9 8MP selfie camera to get better selfies.

The notch, of course, can be turned on or off via software so if you got an issue w/ the notch.  It definitely looks & performs better than I thought - at first glance anyway.  Now that its out, who's interested in seeing what LG has to offer for 2018?
