Now last week, Apple quietly dropped new & more powerful MacBook Pros giving us new quad-core 13inch Pro & a Core i9 15inch Pro.  Now many outlets & YouTubers ordered one right away to get pick it through its paces.  They all came away w/ the same issue of thermal throttling for the more powerful i9 15inch MacBook Pro.

A few days ago, Apple responded by stating the culprit behind it was a software bug for the most part that slowed down clock speeds in heavy processing.  The software issues plagues all of the new 2018 MacBook Pros and not just the Core i9 models.  This bug lies within macOS High Sierra BTW.

They made sure to rectify the matter w/ a new software update that rolled out a few days ago.  This si the 10.13.6 Supplemental Update as this will give you 70% faster performance on the 15inch model & double the speed on the 13inch Touch Bar model – according to Apple anyways.

The past few products have had some soft of hardware or software issues involved.  Anyone feel a little disappointed in the quality control of Apple lately?  And will this deter you from picking up one of these new MacBook Pros?
