A few weeks ago, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson teamed announced his new workout headphones called Project Rock Edition of the UA Sport Wireless. These were made w/ JBL in partnership w/ Under Armour.
These are workout headphones so you get breathable IPX4 SuperVent lining on the ear pads & grip material on the headband for a softer feel. Also, the pads are removable & hand-washable so you won’t have to hold back during your workout. You see the signature Brahma bull as the logo on sides as well. Did we mention that they’re foldable too? Yeah, they are.
As far as the spec side of things, you got a 16-hour battery life w/ a fast charge that gives you an hour in 5 minutes, mics to access Siri or Google Assistant, you can take phone calls on these mics, you got a TalkThru function to quiet the music to speak to nearby people w/o having to pause, a micro USB port, Bluetooth 4.1 but no aptX support.
The headphones were announced along w/ a Spotify playlist called Iron Paradise Airwaves and his own ‘Chase Greatness’ workout gear + UA training shoes as well. The headphones are $249 and will be available on UA’s site and retail stores.
