I'll be the 1st to admit it.  I am not the biggest fan of phone cases.  I prefer to utilize my smartphone w/o one.  But after a while, having your phone in your pocket getting scratched up by keys doesn't make for the best looking device.  I'm slowly getting into the habit of casing up my phones.  My Pixel 2 XL (my main phone) has the Google-crafted cloth case which has been keeping it pristine for many months now.

Today, we're talking about my secondary phone (the LG G7 ThinQ) and the new case: the Ringke Fusion X case.  This is equipped w/ an Anti-Scratch/Dual-Coating technology, durable thermoplastic urethane bumper + military-grade drop protection, and hint of a rugged exterior.  Time to see how all of this works together & if there any downsides to this case.

The Ringke Fusion X design covers the corners to provide proper shock absorption & edge protection for the device.  You got dual-layer protection w/ the clear polycarbonate on the rear-center and temperature polyurethane bumper.  All while maintaining responsive buttons, wireless charging, and cutouts for ports & mics.

It does a great job in protecting the phone w/o adding damn-near any type of bulk to it.  I really didn't have any gripes w/ this case.  The cutouts for the fingerprint scanner & headphone jack are easily accessible w/o any hindrance at all.  You even got a few options for case colors.

Ringke Fusion X Case: Covering all sides of protection but w/o any bulk.

TG 2 Cents

This is my 1st time being exposed to Ringke's cases and what they have to offer.  I was definitely impressed w/ it during my few weeks using it.  It offers a simple yet mildly rugged look while not looking like the uglier militarized cases I despise.  Definitely checks off all of the boxes on my preferences.

Being super affordable helps as well.  Especially when you have a smartphone that costs you $750 & up.  Another good thing is that gone are the days of having to shell out $40 & up for a phone case.  This Ringke case will only cost you $13 over at Amazon.  Don't worry, it holds up quite well within the month we've used it.  From drops, spills, & all.
