Samsung’s forthcoming smartwatch: the Galaxy Watch is among several announcements slated for the Galaxy Note 9 event in a few weeks. It already passed through the FCC in both LTE + Wi-Fi models as well as a larger size w/ LTE.
The image you see above is a screenshot from Samsung’s site which was spotted by the folks over at CNET. This is the smaller 42mm Galaxy Watch in Rose Gold. The Watch is slated to run Tizen & not Google’s WearOS as well as offer Bixby integration. This looks like a mesh of the Gear S3 & LG’s 2nd-gen Watch Urbane LTE.
At this point, there won’t be much left to reveal on August 9th from Samsung. Thoughts on the new look/name for Samsung wearables?
