After a slight delay, it looks like the latest from DJI is finally set to arrive later this month. This was originally set to launch on July 18th but it now has a new date of August 23rd – still in NYC. This bit of info is courtesy of DroneDJ.
We’re expecting to see the Mavic 2 arriving in 2 versions: a Pro & a Zoom models. The Mavic 2 Pro is set to arrive w/ a 1inch CMOS Hasselblad sensor while the Mavic 2 Zoom offers a 2x optical zoom. Both of the new drones will offer a top speed of 45 mph, 31-minute flight time, 1080p video transmission up to 5 miles, and 360-degree obstacle avoidance.
So yeah, not one but 2 drones we’re anticipating from DJI this time around. We’re hoping to procure some passes in the new drone action live. What do you think about the event finally happening and the new drones?
