Today, BlackBerry unveiled the previously-rumored budget version of the Key2. Meet the BlackBerry Key2 LE: the Key2 at a more reasonable price point and slightly lower specs.
The Key2 LE offers a 4.5inch LCD display w/ 1620 x 1080 resolution, powered by a Snapdragon 636 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage expandable via microSD, dual camera setup on the rear w/ a f/2.2 13MP + f/2.4 5MP lens + dual-tone flash, 8MP selfie camera, running Android Oreo, headphone jack, and a 3000 mAh battery w/ Quick Charge 3.0.
The Key2 LE will cost you $399 for the 32GB model & $449 for the 64GB model. It will arrive in 3 colors: Atomic Red, Champagne Gold, and Slate Black. We reviewed the Key2 a few months back and it has its ups & downs but is a solid device for keyboard enthusiasts. The Key2 LE might be a better execution that could be better – hopefully not worse.
Anyone who thought the Key2 was priced too high, is this more in line w/ what you wanted?
