Bluetooth audio is cool but it could be better.  That is the approach for Qualcomm’s new codec for Bluetooth to fix just that.  Introduced the last week at IFA 2018, their new aptX Adaptive codec to be the better route &  new standard for Bluetooth audio.

So w/ aptX Adaptive will offer a higher quality of audio as well as low-latency + low-bit rate.  This will improve the overall audio quality of whatever your streaming music to – whether to headphones or to your car.  The Adaptive feature combines 2 of their previous technologies into one.  One being aptX HD that offers a high-def sound that’s better than CD quality and the other being their aptX low latency that makes the signal stronger w/ zero delay between the source and where the music is going.

Even better news, you won’t need hardware to access this feature as its already built into phones and tablets.  Android P will already support it but iPhones will not as Apple is sticking w/ their W1 chip technology.

So who’s excited about this or is the audio good enough for you?
