Plantronics rolled out a bunch of new members of the new BackBeat family of audio products. Most of them are fitness-focused but the one that got my attention is the new BackBeat Go 810. These are their over-the-ear headphones that are the bigger brother of the BackBeat Go 600-series.
The Go 810 offers 40mm drivers w/ a bass tube design, memory foam padding for the headband/earcups, dual-mode ANC (active noise canceling) for high & low environments, armed w/ dual EQ modes of Bright & Balanced, and gives you 22 hours of battery life on a single charge w/ ANC on and up to 28 hours w/o ANC.
Although it takes 2 hours to fully charge from being completely dead, Plantronics finally added Quick Charge where you can get 3 hours of juice in a 10-minute charge. It can connect to multiple devices via Bluetooth and offers a wireless range of up to 165ft.
The BackBeat GO 810 is now available in 3 colors of Graphite Black, Navy Blue, and Bone White for $150. This looks like the perfect combination of features in an affordable package. What do you think?
