For all of you out there who own the Nintendo Switch, it’s about to get even better. Their online gaming service is finally set to launch next week to be their version of Xbox Live & PlayStation Network.
The new service will be a requirement for select games like Splatoon2, Arms, & Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as it will be the only way to access cloud backup for game saves. You will also get access to their older NES catalog of games w/ 20 titles at launch. Some of them include Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda & more.
So users will be able to give it a 7-day trial before shelling out $$ for a subscription. Speaking of pricing, it will cost you $4 per month, $8 for a 3-month bundle, and $20 for the year. There’s even a family option that supports up to 7 family members for $35.
Nintendo will be diving more in-depth w/ the details at their Nintendo Direct event happening at 6PM EST here. Hopefully, there will be more incentives to go along w/ the great pricing.
So who’s signing up for the service?
