Among the many things set to be unveiled the Pixel 3 event, one of the things we're expecting but don't know much about is Google's Smart Display.  Today that changes thanks to the folks over at MySmartPrice, we now got an image as well as a name for it.

Say hello to the Google Home Hub.  This offers a 7inch touchscreen display that is reminiscent of the design language of the 1st Pixel smartphone.  The display sits on a speaker made of their fabric speaker grill seen on the Google Home speakers.  We see a camera in the front for Duo calls, mute switch + volume rocker on the rear w/ a full-range speaker.  It will offer Bluetooth support along w/ Wi-Fi 2.4GHz + 5GHz speeds.  Other than that, we expect it to perform just like Lenovo's Smart Display.

We don't know what to expect for pricing but I would say around the $250-$300 price range.   Not sure if Google will add a differentiating feature to stand out amongst the other Smart Displays.  The good thing is we don't have long to wait.

If this is the final version of it, are you buying?
