Yesterday, the folks over at XDA Developers dropped yet another update to the Pixel 3 camera.  This time around, it has the elusive feature not yet available to even Pixel 3 owners yet: Night Sight mode.  This was demoed at the Made By Google event a few weeks back but no word on when its coming official.

We grabbed it yesterday and took some photos in the wee hours to see how well it truly works in little-to-zero light present.  Here are a few shots showing off Google flexing their software muscles at night.

The Pixel 3 on the left & the Pixel 3 Night Sight on the right.

We’ll make sure to add more coverage to our upcoming Pixel 3 review.  If you got an original Pixel/Pixel XL, Pixel 2/2 XL, or the 3/3XL; you can hit the link below and download it for yourself.

After seeing the photos, what do you think of the Night Sight Mode?
