Yesterday, Honor unveiled a new device that pushes what they’ve previously done in design & cameras. Say hello to the Honor Magic 2, their latest & greatest w/ a lot to offer.
Think Oppo Find X in the front + P20 on the back.
The Magic 2 touts a 6.39inch FullView AMOLED bezel-less display (2340 x 1080 resolution) w/o a notch and a damn-near 100% screen-to-body ratio. Along w/ that, it is powered by their latest flagship chipset: the Kirin 980 CPU from the Mate 20/20 Pro. Then we have up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, 3 cameras on the rear (16MP + 24MP + 16MP) w/ OIS and a sliding mechanism that reveals 3 cameras in the front (16MP + 2MP + 2MP) to give you 6 AI-based cameras in total. You also got a facial recognition for security (Honor’s take on Face ID) + in-display fingerprint reader, USB-C finally, and a 3400 mAh battery inside.
This sounds crazy impressive – like the Mate 20 for the Honor. Good news is that pre-orders are up now, bad news is that it won’t be available in the US. If you’re in China, you can reserve yours now for RMB 3,799 (around $545 US).
Does the Magic 2 sound like a device you’d buy or buy form a retailer overseas?
