Back in September during NY Fashion Week, Kia teased their new take on rugged luxury w/ the midsize SUV: the all-new Telluride.  This is made for adventures and designed and assembled here in the US.  More specifically, imagined at Kia’s California design studio and assembled in Georgia.

On the outside, you got a big, bold, & boxy presence to maintain its rugged exterior w/ a long hood + wide grille.  On the inside, there’s a lot of modern luxury.  You got a lot of safety features like 7 airbags, blindspot detection, forward collision warning/avoidance, lane following assist, HUD, safe exit assist, and downhill brake control.   Along w/ that, you got Nappa leather trim, reclining 3rd seats, heated + ventilated seats for the 1st + 2nd rows, and option for heated steering wheel as well.

On the tech side, you got a 10inch touchscreen  powered by UVO system w/ rear-view monitor + parking guidance, 6 USB ports, multi-Bluetooth connectivity up to 2 smartphones, wireless charging option, Apple CarPlay + Android Auto support, and a 630-watt 10-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system w/ Quantum logic Surround Sound + Clari-Fi audio.

In regards to the under the hood, the Telluride has something pretty powerful.   You got a 291-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, 4-wheel independent suspension, an electric-hydraulic all-wheel drive system, and 4 drive modes: Smart, Eco, Sport, & Comfort.

No word on pricing but we know it goes on sale later this year.  The Telluride will arrive in 4 trims of LX, EX, S, & SX w/ an option for all-wheel drive.
