Google kicked off I/O this year w/ doing more w/ the little stuff. When I say little stuff, I mean Google Search results. They’re making it more powerful by adding AR + 3D models into them.
Within search results, you can get a closer looks at items and products from your Google search results. The example they used on stage was checking out a pair of New Balance sneakers where you can look at a 3D model of the shoe to see the laces, the grips, rear details and more. They also used a Great White Shark where they put an AR shark on the stage where you can see everything down to the rows of teeth present.
Glad to hear Google is adding some of their cooler features to all aspects of their services. In this case, its Google search results. What do you think of it?
