Almost 3 years ago, Square Enix teased a new game coming starring Marvel’s Avengers. We didn’t get too much info/details about it. Yesterday, that all changed as they dropped a full trailer for it.
We get a to see a bit of the plot starring the same MCU lineup of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, & Hulk. The Avengers are blamed for an attack on A-Day that leaves plenty dead including Cap as well. Looks like Taskmaster is one of the big bads of the game as it feels like a mesh of Age of Ultron & Civil War movie storylines.
The Avengers game will offer 4-player, online co-op play, and various games over the course of a multi-year rollout. The game is set to arrive on May 15th 2020 for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
