Last week, DJI dropped a mirrorless camera-focused gimbal and today Zhiyun dropped their smaller gimbal w/ the Crane-M2. Unlike the Ronin-SC, the Crane-M2 works w/ smaller compact cameras, mirrorless cameras, action cameras, & smartphones.
So the Crane-M2 is ridiculously small & lightweight as its only 1.1lbs and can carry up to 1.58lbs. It offers an OLED display and a new quick release plate. You got new pan modes like: Pan Follow, Follow, & Lock. As well as full-range POV mode, vortex mode, go mode, and selfie mode. And the Crane-M2 has a 7-hour battery life.
You can control everything via Bluetooth + Wi-Fi by the way of the app. And speaking of the app, they’re using the new ZY Play app that adds remote control features as well as timelapse, panorama, & Vertigo shot. You can also add extra audio, lighting, & monitoring equipment to your setup.
You can grab the Crane-M2 for only $239 and it is available now for pre-order at B&H and Best Buy.
