Last week, we told you about a portable, Bluetooth-powered Sonos speaker set to be announced later this month.  Now, thanks to the folks over at WinFuture, we have even more images and a little bit more info on the product.

The new leaks offer images that show off the new speaker in greater detail.  We see the base station (lead image above) as well as the built-in handle on the rear, toggle button to switch from Wi-FI to Bluetooth, and can charge via USB-C or docking station.  Add this to the previous info we know about it like it being a bit taller/wider than the Play:1, support for Alexa or Google Assistant but not in Bluetooth mode, support for AirPlay2, and the new Auto TruePlay that uses its built-in mics to fine-tune the audio based on your surroundings.

All of this gives you the power of Sonos but now portable to places outside of your home.  Making this a more ambitious product for Sonos stepping into the Bluetooth market after trashing the quality for so long.  The more interesting thing will be to see if there’s a difference in quality from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi.

We’ll have to wait and see but there isn’t too long of a time to see.  Are you interested in this speaker?
