Yesterday while I was out and about doing the dad thing, Apple sent out invites for the annual iPhone event.  This year, its out at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, CA on September 10th @10AM PST/1PM EST.

We’re anticipating 3 new iPhones this to be updates tot he iPhone XS, XS Max, & XR.  Current rumors have them being called the iPhone Pro line instead of the iPhone 11.  They’re supposed to be replacing 3D Touch w/ the Haptic Touch from the XR, armed w/ faster chipsets, offer a 3rd rear camera for better imaging, reverse wireless charging, and more.

Don’t look for a USB-C port or 5G support this year as it is said to arrive on the 2020 models.  We’re also expecting ceramic & titanium casings for the Apple Watch (not sure if this will be for the current model or Series 5), updated iPad Pros, and possible the new 16inch MacBook Pro.

As far as what the logo is suggesting, its hard to tell this year.  I would say the different colors suggests new XR color options & AR abilities based on the way the colors sit within the Apple logo.  But we’ll have to wait and see.
