Ah, the Google Home Mini.  This was the big reason why Google was running the smart speaker market for quite some time.  Especially w/ the affordable price point of $49 and less – depending on when you picked one up.

According to the folks over at 9to5Google, we may finally get a sequel for it to come along w/ the Pixel 4 in October.  It will be under the Nest Mini moniker and still be on the smaller side but w/ new features.  New things like improved audio (better bass and louder output), a 3.5mm audio jack, built-in wall mount, and some sort of proximity sensor on board.  Not sure if it will share the alleged Project Soli technology that’s supposed to arrive on the 4th-gen Pixel or something else entirely.

Along w/ all of the new goodies that set to arrive for it, I’m more curious about what new Google Assistant features will come along w/ it as well.  We only got a little over a month to see what holds true about it all.

Anyone looking forward to seeing what the new Mini will look like and have to offer?
