Since Samsung already announced their new watch & tablet ahead of today, they kept one product under wraps to share along w/ the Note 10. That product is the ultra-thin & powerful Galaxy Book S.
You got a 13inch touchscreen w/ 16:9 aspect ratio, running either Windows 10 Home or Pro, 8GB of RAM + 256GB or 512GB – both expandable up to 1TB via microSD, 2 USB-C ports, a headphone jack, fingerprint reader that doubles as a Power button, AKG stereo speakers w/ Dolby Atmos technology, Gigabit LTE support, and a 720p webcam.
Powering this thing is a Snapdragon 8cx CPU which a 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor that is also fan-less. This helps the Galaxy Book S acheive upt o 23 hours of battery life or as Samsung says, ’23 hours of video playback.’ The real-life battery life will probably be a little less than half of that.
This is due out sometime in September and will start at $999. It will arrive in either Earthy Gold or Mercury Gray color options. This goes in line w/ the thin, light, & powerful laptops companies are putting out these days. But this made to not be so much of a processing beast but more so a long-lasting battery that can handle a good amount of tasks.
Will you be putting some $$$ aside to pick this one up next month?
