So we got plenty of big things coming next week. Now we have one more to add to the mix w/ Verizon news – specifically more 5G news. Their fast Ultra Wide Band is finally coming to New York City.
So on September 26th, the 5G network goes live and brings Verizon’s 5G cities to now 11. Unfortunately, they didn’t say where in the island of Manhattan will the faster service will be active at but I’m sure we’ll get more news the day of or nearby.
Their 5G offers super fast speeds of around or over Gigabit speeds but have difficulty going through walls + around corners. Whatever the case, Verizon is looking to beef up their 5G coverage to more than half of the US by the end of next year.
