As 2019 and another decade comes to an end, we’ll be gearing up to crank out more content for you guys moving forward – Lord willing. But before the year is out, let’s check out what’s on my phone. More specifically, what’s on my Pixel 4 XL. From the case covering it to my must-have apps.
Spoiler alert: its only 8 of them not a whole gang of I actually rely upon on a daily basis. Let’s jump into what they are below:
- Amazon – an easy access to check out the deals for the day to share or to catch a good sale w/ fast Prime shipping.
- Buffer – what I use to handle social media for the brand and a few social media accounts where you can add hashtags, create custom schedules, add images, & more.
- Call Of Duty Mobile – I’m more of a console gamer but what Activision did w/ this version of Call Of Duty was amazing. They bring over things like Loadouts, Scorestreaks, favorite stages of Nuketown & others, Bluetooth controller support, and more.
- Gmail – the native email app for all things Android is my go-to. With features like nudges to remind you to follow up, Smart Reply, dark theme, and more to assist you to keep up while on-the-go.
- Hangouts – although a dead messaging app form Google, I still utilize it to keep up w/ colleagues and chat w/ the wife on a daily basis.
- Keep Notes – Google’s simple yet effective note app. You can utilize it & sync w/ desktop app as well as collaborate w/ others in real-time. It has built-in reminders, voice recorder + drawing support within it also.
- Spotify – my new default music streaming app. You got a beautiful UI as well as the joys of sharing playlists, and slowly becoming a nice hub for all podcasts.
- YouTube Studio – as a YouTube creator, this is a must-have app to keep up w/ comments, analytics, and more while on the go and keep up w/ your all aspects of your YouTube community.
So outside of the apps, my Pixel 4 XL is covered by the new Impact Protection case by Catalyst. It does a great job of offering ideal protection while showcasing your color of your device, support up to a 9.9ft drop, has lanyard support, and still allows for Active Edge squeeze for Google Assistant.
