Now when you think of Chromebooks, you don’t think of a machine built for gaming.  This is in part thanks to their low-level specs.  Looks like Google is working on something to make them even more interesting for people to use.

The folks over at Android Police talked to the head of product management of Chrome OS at CES while out in Vegas.  They were informed that Chromebooks will soon get even better for gaming.   They said that they will soon support Stream gaming.

How might you ask?

Based on their interview, this wouldn’t a feature accessible to every single Chromebook.  This will be available on more powerful ones and some mid-tier ones armed w/ an AMD chipset for better GPU performance.  However, there’s no timeline on when it is set to arrive though.

So any of you Chromebook users excited to possibly do some better gaming on it?
