Earlier this morning, Samsung wanted to get the Internet buzzing early by officially announcing their new Lite budget smartphones based off of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10. Enter the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. They borrow mostly from their predecessors and a little from the upcoming Galaxy S11 or S20 line.
Both offer a 6.7inch Super AMOLED display w/ 1080 x 2400 resolution, running an octa-core CPU (probably Exynos), choice of 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD, face recognition, in-display fingerprint reader, a f/2.2 32MP selfie camera, running Android 10 w/ Samsung Experience UX, and a 4500 mAh battery inside.
The S10 Lite offers a different array of camera on the rear while the Note 10 Lite maintain that from the Note 10. You got a f/1.4 5MP macro, a f/2.0 48MP wide, and a f/2.2 12MP ultra wide sensors along w/ Super Steady OIS for better stability for action photos & video for the S10 Lite. Meanwhile on the Note 10 Lite, you got a f/2.2 12MP ultra wide, a f/1.7 12MP wide, and a f/2.4 12MP telephoto sensors. All of this and add the BLE S Pen from the Note 9 and you got a budget Note – of sorts.
No word as of yet on pricing or availability. I’d imagine they’re not gonna wait too long cuz the new Galaxy S device is coming at the end of February.
What do you think of these 2? If the pricing is right, would you pick one of these up?
