Enough of all of the leaks as its time for the Galaxy S20 and all of its friends Samsung will unveil.  Kicking things off w/ the S20 and the S20+ flagship devices kicking off 2020 Android devices.  Let’s dive into it all.

Samsung beefed up their specs a bit to skip the S11 & goes straight to the S20.

So everything pretty much aligns w/ the leaks & rumors.  The Galaxy S20 will tout a 6.2inch 120Hz QHD+ Super AMOLED display and a 4000 mAh battery.   While the Galaxy S20+ will have a 6.7inch 120Hz QHD+ Super AMOLED display and a 4500 mAh battery.  Keep in mind that the 120Hz refresh rate on the displays will only work on FHD+ resolution and not its full QHD+ resolution.  While on the inside, the internals will be the same.  Both offer a Snapdragon 865 CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, 128GB of storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD, Wi-Fi 6, 5G support, Android 10 w/ One UI 2, and a IP68 dust/water-resistant body.

There are more cameras on board for the S20 for 2020.  So we have a hole-punch selfie like on the Note 10 and a total of 3 shooters on the rear.  We got a f/2.2 12MP main sensor which is an ultra-wide camera, a f/1.8 12MP wide-angle camera, and a f/2.0 64MP telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom + 30x digital zoom that they’re calling Space Zoom.  The S20+ adds a 4th depth sensor.  On the video side of things, Samsung is stepping things up and going up to 8K video @30fps.  On the selfie side of things, you have a f/2.2 Dual Pixel AF 10MP front-facing camera for all of your selfie needs.

Now this won’t be an affordable Galaxy this year.   You’re gonna have pay for Samsung going big.  The S20 starts at $999 while the S20+ starts at $1,199.  Both will arrive in Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, & Cloud Pink.  While the S20+ swaps out the Pink for a Cosmic Black color option.

Pre-orders kick off on February 21 at 12:01AM EST and arrives on March 6th.  Those of you who pre-order between February 21 and March 5, will get $100 Samsung credit w/ an S20, a $150 credit w/ an S20+, or a $200 credit w/ an S20 Ultra. Samsung is also offering up to $700 off with select trade-ins.

Are you picking this one up or nah?
