Despite everything being relatively shut down, Beats By Dre made their previously-leaked Powerbeats 4 official – actually they’re just called the Powerbeats. The design remains the same but they updated a few things to make them work better.
The new Powerbeats are now IPX4 rated for sweat + water-resistance, the neckband cable now runs behind your ear, you got Apple’s H1 chip for fast -pairing + ‘Hey Siri’ support, a 15-hhour battery life, and the same sound quality as the Powerbeats Pro. Nice! Outside of that, you got the multi-functioning ‘B’ button on the right for play/pause actions w/ Black, White, & Red color options.
Priced at $149, you get probably the best battery life on a pair of earbuds and wired design will keep you form losing one of them. Even cheaper than the previous versions as well as the Powerbeats Pro. These are due out in a few days on March 18th over at Apple, Best Buy, & other retailers.
