Late last week, LG took to YouTube to announce the arrival & official unveiling of their newest smartphone: the Velvet. So on May 7th, we will get a virtual unveiling of the LG Velvet.
We know very little about this one outside of the curved edges, rain drop-styled camera system, and color options. Rumors have it w/ a Snapdragon 756 CPU w/ 5G support, a teardrop notch on the front, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. LG will launch it locally in South Korea in mid-May and we’ll have to wait and see to hear about any US availability. Maybe they’ll shed some light on it on the 7th.
LG hasn’t been secretive about this new smartphone line in regards to showing us what it looks like. But we still don’t know what it will be packed w/ and what it can do. Even though the V60 isn’t even 2 months old yet, LG might be moving away from their G & V series of devices. Or just adding another one into the mix.
