While Microsoft has already shown off their Xbox Series X console, controllers, & what it can do, its now Sony’s turn.  Thus far, we’ve only just seen a little bit of what it can do and what its controller looks like.  Sony’s Future of Gaming event for the PS5 on June 4th hopes to change all of that.

The PS5 event will begin at 1PM PST/4PM EST and will run over an hour.   They promise a 1st look at games you’ll be able to play on the console when it launches this holiday.  So don’t expect to see what the console looks like based off what they’re saying here.  Speaking of the console, it will offer tons of power.  Armed w/ an 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, a custom GPU based on AMD RDNA 2, 16GB of RAM, a proprietary SSD giving you 825GB of storage, capable of 3D audio & Dolby Atmos support, can game in 4K @120fps, and will have a 4K Blu-Ray player.

I guess after this, we’ll really see what Sony will have to offer and will seal the deal for gamers on the fence.  Do you need to see what the console looks like before picking this one up though?
