Today is time for Apple to reveal the curtain on all of the new software updates they’ve been working on.   So we’re expecting to latest for iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, HomeKit, Siri, & more.  Here’s what we’re expecting to see:

  • iOS – we could get iPhone OS to go along w/ last year’s iPad OS.  This new version adds much-needed stability & performances fixes, Siri suggestions, 3rd-party wallpaper settings, 3rd-party apps can be selected as native default ones, a new Fitness app, an AR app to prep for the iPhone 12s, & more.
  • iPadOS – is said to add a new PencilKit feature that would change handwritten text to standard text.
  • macOS – not much is been revealed on this end.  The biggest thing is the possible rumor of Apple to announce updated Mac hardware using Arm-based CPUs in stead of Intel chips.
  • watchOS – is said to add native sleep tracking, blood oxygen tracking, improved parental controls, new watchfaces, & the ability to share watchfaces.
  • tvOS – looks to add a Fitness app as well as Screen Time & Kids mode.
  • New Apple TV 4K – refresh w/ updated internals (new CPUs & double the storage).
  • Apple Airtags – their version of Tile which are Bluetooth tags to keep up w/ your belongings.

The main keynote kicks off at 1PM EST/10AM PST if you want to watch it live.  Like other Apple events, you can watch it on your Apple products (iPhone, iPad, TV, Mac) as well as Safari browsers, Apple’s event page, YouTube (via the video above) and Twitter.

Anything you’re looking forward to or hoping to hear about?
