Despite the current pandemic preventing the masses from travelling, there are still folks that will be visiting family for the upcoming holidays.  For those of you still plan on making that trip, no reason for you to not so it smart.  Our favorite travel app, TripIt, continues to get better & better.   Today they announce 2 more features w/ the ability to upload documents directly to the app and set your personal safety risk.

With Documents you can now upload important ones like PDFs, photos, boarding pass and mobile passport QR codes directly to the app.  This even works w/ train tickets as well.  So you will be able to add attachments to the Details screen for your flight, lodging, car rental, activity, and other trip items starting today.   You will even be able download or screenshot to access your info offline as well.

And the 2nd new feature is the ability to set your own Personal Risk Level within TripIt’s Neighborhood Safety Scores.  Their scores were  introduced last September where they provide a safety score when travelling to neighborhoods in different cities to help women + LGBTQ members travel safely.   Now you can personalize it to create your own safety level from lowest to highest risk scoring from 11 to 100.  Now you can set your levels to evaluate your own risk if desired.

Both new features are available for TripIt members (free + Pro).  However, TripIt Pro members can upload up to 25 documents per trip while free members cap off at only 3.
