Eufy is part of the Anker company which specializes in phone accessories. While Eufy on the other hand is known for their home security camera as well as now home lighting, weight scales, Home vacuums, alarm systems, and video doorbells.

Today we are doing a review of the the Eufy RoboVac G30 Edge.  Let’s talk specs as well as highlighting the features such as high suction, convenient control using the app or via voice assistant with Alexa or Google, reminders, can schedule start times and set boundaries.

In the box you get the Robo Vac, the dock with power station, two side sweepers, a spare air filter and magnetic boundary strips. It has a 2600mAh battery, the charge time is 5-6 hours and runs for about 110mins. It also has their Smart Dynamic Navigation 2.0 system.

We have been using this at our home for well over two months and could be happier with this product. It does great on our floors. We have a backyard, with two kids and a dog, so you can imagine the amount of dirt and trash that is brought into this house.

Some of the features are full mapping of your house and cleaning reports. This mapping system also lets you set boundaries. You can set friendly reminders on your phone. It gives you a verbal response, so it talks to you. The app is super easy to connect to, and can be downloaded it to android and iPhone through their app stores. And it has Amazon Alexa or Google assist support, so you can tell them to start and stop the robovac.

While we had it, at one point the robot vac got stuck on some Halloween spider webs, and I got an alert on my phone. When I got to it, it was paused, so that it wouldn’t keep trying to move or burn out the motors. Once it was untangled and clear of those webs, I placed it on the ground and hit the play button on top of the robovac and it went right back to cleaning.

Let’s talk software, Smart Dynamic Navigation 2.0 helps make sure the robovac doesn’t fall downstairs or get stuck, the onboard sensors do a great job getting around obstacles. I like that it has a side brush for sweeping things into the Robovac. One feature that we tried but don’t really use much, is you can set areas to be off-limits for your robovac. Let’s say you have a mudroom and don’t want anything tracked through your home, you can block it out. You can do this on the app by making it off-limits or by setting up the magnetic boundary strips that come in the package.

It is not that loud, for a robovac, you can tell it’s working but it doesn’t distract you while you are watching TV, listening to music, or are just doing your thing while it cleans your house. And once it’s done. It returns to the docking station to recharges.

The big negative is the charging, 5 to 6 hours is a bit long to wait, and it only works 110 mins, and then it takes another 5 hours to recharge. But those are really the only downside.

Despite one complaint, Eufy's G30 Edge is still a great robovac.

This retails for $369 and can be found on sale often as it is definitely is their high-end model.  But when you compare it to the rest of the industry this in the middle to low end of pricing and it provides so many high-end features. With models that have similar features reaching around $600 and higher. This is definitely a good price. If you want a robovac with all the features and integrated voice assist, then check out Eufy’s Robo Vac G30 Edge.
