Over the weekend, we got more details on the specs for the entire Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup. This bit of news is courtesy of the folks over at Android Police on the 3 models: the S21, the S21+, & the S21 Ultra.
The S21 is said to offer a 6.2inch display + 4000 mAh battery, the S21+ will have a 6.7inch display + 4800 mAh battery, & the S21 Ultra will have a 6.8inch display + 5000 mAh battery. The more interesting thing here is that the S21 Ultra will offer S Pen support but won’t include one though. All 3 devices will have a Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 CPU, running Android 11 w/ One UI 3.1.
As far as cameras go, the S21 & S21+ will have a 12MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, & 64MP telephoto sensor. While the S21 Ultra will sport a 108MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto w/ 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP ‘Super’ telephoto w/ 10x optical zoom. This will get you 4K @60fps, 8K @30fps, improved night mode, and dual recording (capturing video from the selfie + rear shooter at the same time).
Of course these will support 5G as well as Wi-Fi 6 while the S21 Ultra adds Wi-Fi 6E into the mix. No word on the pricing or the specs on the selfie camera but we definitely know a bit more than previously. We should expect an official announcement sometime in January from Samsung.
