TCL unveiled a new addition to the smart vision category w/ these NXTWEAR G Wearable Display Glasses for MWC 2021.  Now at 1st glance, you might think that these are TCL’s take on Google Glass but that is not the case.  

These are display glasses that can be used as a portable display for watching movies & playing games on.  TCL equipped this w/ dual 1080p Sony Micro OLED panels  + stereo speakers to emulate a 140inch display w/ 16:9 aspect ratio.  

You got a metallic frame w/ soft-touch nylon + silica gel, 3 adjustable nose pads, and a lens adapter to adhere to what your prescription might be.  These do have an open fit design that allows you to retain your peripheral vision to easily keep in touch w. the outside world by gazing down.  

Now there are no headset or batteries present as these are powered via smartphone or laptop by the way of plug & play through USB-C.  It won’t even require an app either.It will be compatible w/ over 100 smartphones, 2-in-1 hybrid devices, & laptops.  These can easily disappear within their capsule case to go into a small backpack or handbag w/ ease. 

No word on pricing as of yet as it will launch in Australia next month & other select regions to follow afterwards.    So what do you think of the NXTWEAR G glasses?
