So along w/ the Nord 2, we got a new pair of earbuds from OnePlus to better compete in the massive earbud marketplace. Meet the OnePlus Buds Pro, their latest earbud effort w/ a better-looking design & retaining a great price point.
You get a similar AirPods Pro look w/ a two-tone color scheme. So you have a Black on Black matte and the Silver on White matte color options. This is their 1st pair of buds to offer Active Noise Cancellation via the power of 3 mics to actively filter out levels up to 40dB. Along w/ that, you got 11mm dynamic drivers, Dolby Atmos support, a custom OnePlus Audio ID profile, Bluetooth 5.2, & low latency.
OnePlus also quotes up to 5 hours of juice per use w/ a total of 38 hours of battery life w/ the charging case. This will give you fast Warp Charging w/ 10 hours of use within 10 mins of charging as well as wireless charging.
So the OnePlus Buds Pro isn’t due out until September 1st and will come in at $150. I may or may not pick these up to try out. OnePlus earbuds haven’t been amazing thus far or have been getting what you pay for. We’ll see if these Pro Buds can change things up for them.
